La Fête des Tuileries: a family funfair in the heart of Paris

Paris without its gardens in summer would not be Paris! While August is in full swing, there's nothing better than a little trip to the Jardin des Tuileries to have fun, enjoy the sun and relax. Indeed, the Tuileries Festival invites young and old to (re)discover its 60 attractions until August 25, 2019.

Are you looking for ideas for activities to do with your family during your next stay at Jack's Hotel? For 20 years, the Tuileries Festival has been the second largest Parisian fair after the Foire du Trône. However, this human-sized festival remains the darling of families! Here, you can stroll between attractions, food stands and green lawns, just a few steps from the Place de la Concorde and the Louvre Museum.

Children (and older children) will be delighted to see the bumper cars and the authentic wooden horse rides dating from 1900. The youngest will have fun with gravity on the trampolines and giant slides. Those who like big thrills will take the ghost train. And of course, there will be many prizes to be won for the most skilful with the rifle shooting and duck fishing stands. But the highlight of the show is the Ferris wheel! This last one will make you turn your head with its spectacular view on Paris, once at the top.

In between attractions, you will have the opportunity to enjoy chocolate waffles, churros and cotton candy, as well as Italian ice cream and sandwiches. Concerts should be organized throughout the Tuileries Festival. Stay tuned! During the day, this family funfair will be devoid of any sound system so you can enjoy your day without being knocked out by loud music. A great argument for families who plan to come with little ones!

If the access to the fair is free, we advise you to buy a pass to fully enjoy the attractions offered by the Tuileries Festival. Don't hesitate to come and have fun with your family, your friends or your loved ones!
